Until Latin we must leave if we want to find the etymological origin of the verb that now concerns us. And it is the result of the sum of three components of this language:
• The prefix “re-”, which is used to indicate reiteration.
• The term “usus”, which can be translated as “use”.
• The suffix "-are", which was a termination used to shape the verbs.

To reuse is a verb which is linked to reuse something . In this sense, the term can be used as a synonym for Recycle (which consists in submitting a product or a material to a certain process so that it can be reused).

He dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) , however, does not include the notion of reuse. Yes mention refuse (from Latin refūsus), which refers to not wanting or not accepting something .

When using again goods or products (that is, by reusing them), the planet is being helped. That which is no longer used ends in a dump , increasing the level of waste. On the other hand, by discarding something, we are driving the production of a new product in its replacement, which can increase polluting emissions.

From the point of view of the ecology Well, it is always advisable to reuse the products. Sometimes, the same use can be made over and over again without the need to face any kind of process (for example, using a cloth bag to make purchases). In other cases, reuse requires certain processes for the material to become suitable again (paper recycling). Another possibility is to transfer the used product to another person , for whom it will be useful (donating clothes or giving away a set of dishes).

In this sense, it should be noted, for example, the role within the fashion sector has the term at hand. And, mainly because of economic matters, second-hand stores have taken on special relevance.

These are establishments where anyone can acquire, at a much cheaper price than the one he had at the time, all kinds of garments that belonged to another individual. It is, therefore, a way to reuse clothing, footwear or accessories.

Likewise, on a day-to-day basis we can resort to endless actions that mean reusing the products or items we already have, both to avoid making a new financial outlay and to take full advantage of those. An example of this is that when we print a sheet on one side, then it can be reused, on the other side. In this way, there will be significant savings in printer ink, in investment in this material and also in paper.

It could be said that, regarding the products we consume, we have three options or steps to follow to collaborate with the environment . The first is reduce the consumption , the second is reuse products and the third, Recycle (subject them to a process to give them a new life).

Recycling has become a very important activity in recent years in favor of the environment and a better quality of life.
